Everyone knows that Disney puts on great fireworks; the fireworks bursting behind the Castle of Sleeping Beauty are a signature image seen at the start of nearly every Disney movie, show and commercial. In addition to the magical pyrotechnic shows shot off nearly every day of the week, fireworks at Disneyland are also tailored to the specific season and feature different shows for summer, Halloween and the winter holidays. Some of the best viewing locations include Main Street, U.S.A., between Central Plaza and the Main Street Train Station, in front of "It's A Small World," and along the Rivers of America in Frontierland. If visiting, remember to call guest services in advance to find out exactly when and where these six extravaganzas of firework sparkles will be held.
"Remember... Dreams Come True" Fireworks Spectacular: This state-of-the-art fireworks spectacular lights up the sky using Sleeping Beauty Castle as a majestic backdrop. This show, sponsored by Honda, captures the wishes, dreams and imagination of Walt Disney and is the largest night-time celebration the part offers. Young and old alike will feel inspired by the magical display of pyrotechnics that links generations together.
Magical: This fireworks display combines vivid bursts of color and breathtaking visual effects together to create legendary Disney magic. Guests will enjoy having every sense engaged in the display as colorful fireworks dance about choreographed to some of our most favorite Disney theme songs. One of the favorite parts is when glittering pink hearts twinkle in the sky as a tribute to princes and princesses everywhere.
July 4th Firework Show: Celebrate Independence Day at Disneyland with a salute to stars and strips in a bang-up way that only pyrotechnics can bring. Chest-swelling patriotic songs are played as the background to fiery burst of red, white and blue fireworks and every guest is sure to leave reminded of the hopes, dreams and opportunity offered by the land of the free and home of the brave - America!
Halloween Screams: Halloween brings a haunting season of fireworks that are meant to keep guests on the edge of their seats. Not too scary, this family-friendly show incorporates eerie Disney melodies along with dazzling, electric fireworks to leave you breathless, on edge, but begging for more! All the Disney villains will be out and about during this spook-tacular season.
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular: Winter brings a fantasy of fireworks to the sky as the Sleeping Beauty Castle transforms into a wonderland complete with faux icicles, sparkling snow and holiday spirit. Enjoy the magical Disney fireworks show while singing along to the soundtrack of beloved holiday songs.
New Year's Eve: Ring in the New Year with a nod to magical beginnings at Disneyland. The "Ring in the New Year" fireworks spectacular happens only one night a year; but the awesome fireworks that illuminate the skies will be remembered by guests forever. If you can't get to Disney for New Year's, you can always host a firework show yourself!
