It is every child's dream to go to Disneyland in California or to Disneyworld in Florida, from when their parents told them of those magical fairytales to when they discovered that such a place existed. But what does Disneyland have to offer that makes it so special?
Disneyland is really well suited to the younger kids and their parents than the teens looking for scary jaw dropping rides - though there are one or two that would make my heart drop a little too. So where to bring your kids first? If your kids are a big fan of Mickey, I'd suggest going inside Mickey's home as a first stop.
Get to see how Mickey Mouse himself lives, visit the set of one of Mickey's famous cartoons and finally get to meet Mickey himself in person!
For more family fun stuff you can try out the Astro Orbitor which lets you climb into your very own jet with your kids and soar as high as you like with the touch of the rocket's control lever through the constellations and orbiting satellites that are inspired by real astronomical designs. And for those Pirates of the Caribbean fans, take an adventure into the Caribbean where you tread on unknown waters and get a real classic Disney story telling with a twist!
For the big kids and adults who like to have a little fun, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad promises mine shafts, falling rocks and water in a mine train roller coaster. Splash mountain is good too for a thrill and to cool off ride a hollowed-out through winding water ways and finally plunge five-storey's into a backwoods bayou bash and don't forget the famous space mountain nearby. Take a flight into the future as you take a hyper-speed adventure ride through this newly revamped celestial attraction.
And whatever time of day it is, if you and your loved ones get hungry, there's plenty of food all over the park. Choose from cafes and casual restaurants such as the French Market Restaurant, Cafe Orleans and Redd Rockett's Pizza port which promise to fill you up and leave you contented. If the little ones are with you, you can take them to character dining restaurants like Plaza Inn "Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park" or if you've dropped the kids off with an extra pair of hands you trust, you can take time off to enjoy some fine dining at Blue Bayou All Time Favorites.
