Our Disneyland day happened to land on a Saturday. Mother came to our bedrooms and woke my brother and I up very early. The sun wasn't even up. I didn't care, because I knew what this was the day for us to experience something different. My younger brother and I were so excited that we even forgot what day it was. Saturdays are our favorite cartoon day. We loved to watch the Bugs Bunny Show. But on this day was different, and we didn't care.
We looked forward to get dressed and eat our cereals. Then, we packaged and ourselves in the car. We literally thought it was Christmas morning. In some sense, we could not wait until we opened our gifts. And we could not wait to get to the Disneyland theme park. We have our hat, sunscreen, clothes, teddy bears and our favorite book.
Time could not bring us there sooner. We finally drove up to the theme park, we watched as park attendants pointed us through the parking lot maze. Impatiently, we jump out of the car once we finally parked. Then we lead our parents to the front gate. Once in the park, we couldn't believe the greatness of it. It was so huge and full of people that we didn't know which direction to head to our first ride.
Our parents insisted the studied the map first of Disneyland. They had planned a course where we should go, the circle would be very effective today. We challenged all travel that were, for the amount of levels. We saw shows, ate hot dogs and chips and soda and ice. We have pictures with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. We took the boat ride through the It's A Small World tunnel. We got pictures of Mickey Mouse and we each received a hat from him.
It was such a fun-filled day that we didn't even realize how exhausted we were by the time the light show ended. All we wanted to do at that point was be carried in our parents arm back to the car. The ride home hummed us to sleep. We dreamt we were still at Disneyland with all of the new friends we made. Back in our beds, we continued our dream state. Then, we told all of our classmates about our awesome day the next school day. We wore our Mickey Mouse hats to prove it.
