Finally, one of the other great family reunion destinations is also located in the Northeast. You can begin your family reunion planning by contacting the helpful staff at the Disney Vacation Planning department. They will take care of arranging entrance tickets and reserving rooms at Disney properties. Family reunion members can often get discounted tickets as it is considered a bulk purchase.

The Happiest Place on Earth Picnic is a necessary service so you may take care of all your family reunion participants. It includes Disneyland entry for your entire family and is offered throughout the year. You also are offered several options for a fully catered meal during your family get together. For mid sized reunions, up to 300 people, Disney's Big Thunder Ranch is recommended. For larger groups, up to 1000, your family reunion will most likely be held at Disney's Festival Arena.

For smaller reunions, up to 100 people, you will not qualify for Disney's special catering program. However, this policy is regulated on a case by case basis. You should consult a Disney representative about your particular situation. Keep in mind that if Disney's catering program is not applicable to your situation, there are plenty of great themed restaurants where you can arrange dining for your event.

By booking a block of rooms and planning your event during the off season, you may be able to obtain a significant discount on rooms for your reunion members. This same discount may apply to airline tickets to Disneyland, if purchased well in advance.
